Pete Cornish has taken two of his most popular effects units and combined them into the Cornish G-2/SS-3 Duplex, one case that is smaller than the combined area of the two individual items. From this single unit you can access many distinctly unique sounds with an almost infinite array of Tones and degrees of Sustain.
The Cornish G-2™ gives a higher level of overdrive for that classic cranked up Marshall sound found on most British rock records of the 70s (Led Zeppelin, Free, Bad Company etc.). The G-2™, with it's warm Germanium qualities and higher gain, starts at around the rhythmic crunch stage of the SS-3™ and continues through in controllable degrees to a rounded but dynamic lead. It features a four-stage overdriven discrete transistor circuit with additional Germanium components that generate much warmer sounding harmonics than any other distortion unit on the market. Within the huge sound created by this unit the original Guitar Tone and Dynamics are present, enhancing the musical expression of your performance.
The PETE CORNISH SS-3™ is great for crunchy rhythm and a nice thick bluesy lead. The sound is very much like an overdriven vintage valve amp. The SS-3™ is currently being used by Noel Gallagher of Oasis, and is also a firm favorite of David Gilmour of Pink Floyd and Lou Reed. It has the best bottom end retention ever heard in an effect, whilst the mid-range is sweet and very transparent. The SS-3™ retains all the tonal nuances of your guitar and will make it come alive. It is subtle and yet capable of amazing power and sustain. Using the SS-3™ with a clean amp it is possible to progress from subtle overdriven amp sounds, through rhythmic crunch, up to a blues' lead. The tonal characteristics and dynamics of the guitar are maintained even when using this pedal at its maximum gain.

The Pete Cornish TB-83 is the original Cornish Treble Boost designed and built by him from the early 1970s and still in production. This is the original version supplied to Brian May and can be heard on all Queen recordings. Pete is still using the same artwork for the circuit board and identical components are sourced from the original suppliers. Each pedal is individually hand made by Pete and Lynda Cornish from the etching of the circuit board through to the testing of the finished unit. No other person is involved in the production.-from the Cornish website. Even includes a Brian May style 'pick' attached under the pedal!

The Cornish LD-1 is a Line driver dual voltage 9/18 VDC unit - a low noise discrete component Class A pre-amplifier that has been specifically designed to overcome the problems often encountered with amplification of Electric Instruments fitted with magnetic transducers. A frequent cause of these problems is the mismatch of the impedance in the electrical circuit between the pickup and subsequent equipment: this mismatch has been completely eliminated with the introduction of the LD-1™ Line Driver. The input impedance is identical to a high quality tube amplifier and our Class A Pre-amplifier also features a highly effective RF filter which will help prevent interference from nearby radio transmitters. The pickup output should be connected directly to the LD-1™ input with a low loss, screened cable; the LD-1™ output can now be fed to any effects or volume pedals (if used) and then on to the amplifier, using fully screened cables throughout.
A further use of the LD-1™ is to isolate long cable feeds which can cause signal and tone losses at the end of an effects chain, particularly if the final effect has a high impedance output (for instance a 250KW foot volume pedal). When using many effects it can be beneficial to add a LD-1™ mid way along the chain thus preventing a build up of signal losses that can occur with mismatched impedances between effects.

Originally designed for inclusion in the range of Effects Boards created for Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour, the PETE CORNISH ST-2™ has a long history of preference by professional rock musicians as a vital part of their custom built PETE CORNISH™ Effects Pedalboards and Rack Systems. The ST-2™ features a superior RFI rejecting input and bypass buffer stage feeding a discrete Class A transistor multi-stage amplifier that has the carefully controlled gain structure with added adjustable Gain and Tone correction circuitry needed by today’s active rock musicians. The ST-2™ has wide range “GAIN”, “TREBLE”, “BASS” and “VOLUME” controls and we recommend that try some of settings shown below, making small adjustments as you play. The “Neutral” or “Unity” settings of the controls are: Bass/Treble - 12 o’clock; Gain – fully counter clockwise; Volume - 3 o’clock.

Originally built for David Gilmour and used by anyone who has ever made a classic record, the SS-3 is the "soft sustain" your rig has never experinced until now. This pedal fulfills the void in Pete's pedal line between the extreme gain of the P-2 and G-2 pedals and the pure clean boost of the Linear Boost. The Soft Sustain provides a wonderfully rich and textured mild overdrive that completely retains the harmonic and dynamic structure of your current guitar and amp set up, while adding a nice pulp-like texture to lead and rhythm lines. In its more subtle modes, the Soft Sustain adds a nice grit and punch and in higher gain modes is capable of adding a beautifully amp-like sustain without sounding like a "pedal". In our opinion, this pedal is the last word in mild overdrives, even the best modded Tube Screamers and boutique "cleanboost/overdrives" cannot compare to the clarity and definition this pedal provides. In addition to its superior sonic qualities, this pedal features Pete's proprietary RFI rejecting circuitry and line level buffering for flawless "around the World" operation.
Cross Pete Cornish and you end up with the baddest overdrive-sustaining pedal on the planet. Originally built for David Gilmour, the Soft Sustain version 3 (SS-3) is an all out sonic wallop of glistening sustained notes and lush midrange. The P-2 is the crushing overdrive tone from all of your favorite '60's and 70's records you could never figure out how to get. Put them in a duplex and you can cross-pollinate the best of both worlds or serve them up one at a time. Highly recommended by Jimmy Page, Guitar Player magazine and Mass Street Music.
Pete Cornish has jumped into new territory with his Acoustic/DI/mute stand alone pedal and he hits the bullseye once again. Far louder and cleaner than anything we've ever heard out of a direct box - the Cornish legacy lives on in all things acoustic on stage or in the studio. Snap off the unit into full mute mode to silently tune! Very cool and hard to come by and only one in stock.
The ST-2 is an unreal EQ boost/shimmering pedal that will redefine your favorite amp set-up. When we tried it out with a Grosh Retro Vintage T and a Dr.Z RxES, the shimmering sound it produced was the coolest and most dynamic clean tone we've ever heard. We also played it with an Anderson Cobra through a '63 Tremolux and again, surreal 3-D notes came bursting out of the cabinet. The ST-2 is THE pedal that will make the perfect rig sound even better.

In the words of Pete Cornish, when all other pedals go to 11, this one goes to 15!! Specifically designed to simulate "imminent amp death" this custom built unit features several separate stages so that the user can drive one distortion stage into the other creating a variety of "colors" that range from simply intense to out and out insane! Fans of Octavias, Fuzz Faces that are on the verge of exploding and Ampeg Scramblers need to check out this unit. It does not sound like anything you've heard before and the possibilities of "freak out" fuzz that this unit is capable of, is infinite. Those of you who like to experiment with running one fuzz into another or have a bunch of old germanium fuzz units that have that one "unique" sound, yet are totally impractical except for experimentation, need this pedal. It does the remarkable, consistently producing the "unproducable" tones of vintage fuzz units in one tough road worthy package. A must for all serious fuzz fans.

Without a doubt the finest AB box in existence. First of all, this box uses Pete's proprietary Class A high impendence input and superior RFI rejecting pre-amp to completely isolate the guitar signal from any loading that occurs from long signal paths. To route the signal properly, Pete uses an AC powered system that is completely isolated from the outputs to prevent any ground loops. It also allows for a totally silent switch that cannot be heard through the amps. Each output has a phase reverse switch to allow complete control of the phase relationship between the amps. We had Pete design the switches to operate as such; an A or B switch and a separate A & B switch to be able to always activate both amps without having to do a tap dance for two switches. He also added a Mute switch for a complete shut down of the signal path if so desired. If you are the proud owner of two great old vintage amps or two boutique amps and have always been disappointed in the quality of production AB boxes, either because of tonal loss or phase and grounding problems or switching is never silent, this is the AB box for you.

Originally designed as an intregal part of Pete's custom pedal boards and rack systems, this unit is designed to add anywhere up to +27db (!) of a pure clean boost to the signal without any alteration to the original tone. When used with a clean amp, this unit does exactly what it was intended for and the tonal alteration is indeed completely transparent. In addition to the clean boost function, this unit is supplied with Pete's proprietary Unity Gain Line Driver so that when used as the last piece in a pedal chain, will also allow the use of extremely long cables to go from the pedal board to the amp without any signal, dynamics or tonal loss. Also added is the separate but permanently active tuner feed and mute switch to allow complete shut down of the signal path connected to the main output. Also makes for a transparent overdrive when used with an amp at maximum clean headroom or fully cranked. A stellar piece of gear and a must for multiple unit pedal boards that will be used on large stages where the amp is a considerable distance from the pedal system.

Pete's work with David Gilmour is legendary. The two of them have been collaborating for close to 30 years now on David's personal guitar systems. Obviously, delay is a big part of David's guitar sound. The smooth decaying ambience of his melodic leads have been heard and loved by guitar players and music lovers alike for decades. For years David and Pete were disappointed by the lack of consistency and reliability between tape echo machines, analog bucket brigade units, rack mounted digital delay units and especially stomp box digital delays. Pete's solution was to start from the ground up, offering a reliable, bullet proof and studio quality floor style delay unit that offered the wide bandwidth and stability of digital delay, a much improved power supply, input pre-amp and buffering system and most importantly the warmth and natural bandwidth limited sound of classic tape and analog units, without resorting to ancient and ultimately tempermental technology. The TES is the result of this one on one hard work between Pete and David Gilmour. The basis of this unit is the classic Boss DD-2, but this is no stock DD-2 (Pete has also increased the delay time to 960ms)! The sonics are incredible, rivaling the very best 80's Lexicon and Deltalab delay units and the TES circuit allows the user to add, at will, the classic gradual roll off associated with the limited bandwidth of analog and tape units WITHOUT losing the initial full bandwidth of the original signal and the first repeat. The effect is subtle, musical and oh so addictive. Long sustained notes using the TES circuit have a natural tail to them that is as close to how echo in nature actually occurs. Repeats gently lose their high end and the amount of roll off can be adjusted using the supplied control from slight roll off to how Pete describes as "completely worn tape heads". The TES circuit also engages a slight increase in volume to the repeats so that when going back and forth between stock digital and TES the repeats are more natural in volume. When in use as a straight digital delay, the warmth, clarity and musicality is easily the best we've ever heard from a delay unit and the proprietary AC power supply ensures that as long as the AC power is within +/- 15 volts of optimum, the delay signal is rock solid in its bandwidth, timing and most importantly tone (try that with stock digital delay units in a variety of environments). As a tape echo simulator, it really isn't fair to compare to an old tape echo. This is MUCH better, more refined, MUCH more reliable and durable (The newest versions have had hardware upgrades to make them as bullet-proof as possible) and ultimately more musical. This is the very best sounding guitar delay made today, and is priced accordingly.
This is the second version of the classic "Fireplace" Treble Booster made by Pete Cornish for Brain May, yes, THAT Brian May, used from 1972 to the present day. It can be heard on every Queen recording made and this version has a footswitch for use as an "extra" booster in line with an existing TB-83 for solos and extra "bite" and "dirt". All parts are exact to the orignals, sourced from the same suppliers and is hand made by the man himself. This is an essential piece of gear for anyone looking to get the classic Brian May tone from their AC-30's. When plugged into the Normal Channel on an AC-30 (Just the way Brian does it, NOT into the Top Boost channel), this pedal will create the ringing and sustaining harmonics that Brian is known for. When plugged into other high quality tube amps or boutique overdrive pedals, this unit creates a wonderfully crunchy and rich tone, loaded with 2nd order harmonics that cut through a mix with grinding authority. This is it folks! This is not a re-creation or clone of the pedal Brian May uses. This is THE unit made by THE guy, but with a footswitch (Brian's unit is always on!) for those of us that want his sound when we need it. HELPFUL HINT -- This pedal when plugged into a 60's Fender? Bassman top, makes for a KILLER tube rig, with tone to die for, at a fraction of the cost of a boutique two channel tube head. The treble boost takes the relatively dark and BLAH tone of the Bassman's Normal channel and creates a very dynamic and rich crunch that is very addictive. Call to place an order
