This 2015 Collings CJ-35, here is a striking sunburst finish, is a Collings interpretation of one of the early 3-tone bar slope-shouldered guitars. Featuring a Sitka Spruce top, paired with Mahogany back and sides, this guitar is lively, and bold sounding, one of those guitars that wants to take off from first strum - lightweight and articulate with loads of string separation and power. Here in Good condition, there is playwear, dents and nicks to the body, along with a nick on the back of the haircut headstock (see photos). The guitar has definitely been played, but in no way abused. Moderate fretwear. Original Collings TKL Hardshell case included
  • Slope-Shouldered Dreadnought with high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer Sunburst finish and Ivoroid binding
  • Pre-War Non-Scalloped Adirondack Spruce bracing with 3 tone bars
  • Select Sitka Spruce top with Tigerstripe celluloid pickguard and simple Ivoroid rosette
  • Mahogany back and sides with 1-style Walnut backstrip
  • 24 7/8" scale length
  • Mahogany neck with Vintage-Inspired profile
  • Wenge fingerboard with 14" - 26" compound radius, 20 Medium 18% nickel-silver frets and Mother-of-Pearl dot inlays
  • 1 3/4" nut width, Bone
  • Cut-through Bone saddle with 2 5/16" string spacing
  • Straight-style Wenge bridge
  • Nickel Waverly tuners with Ivoroid buttons and 16:1 ratio
