Dr. Z Guitar Amps - KT-45MPN: KT-45 For authentic British crunch, I've always loved the Dr. Z KT-45, but it was discontinued a few years back. I was totally bummed. But...Z has brought it back, and boy we're glad he did! This amp is all British tone. The solid state rectifier helps this amp deliver an in-your-face punch with just the right amount of Classic Rock aggressiveness. Plugging in a humbucking guitar will get you a nice, tight sounding grind a la Hiwatt with a little Malcolm Young thrown in there. No pedals necessary...just turn up and rock. - Brian S. Exceedingly expressive, rich highs and sharp gain cascade and swell with each pick attack and stops on a dime when muted.
