Germino Club 40 Head and 2x12 Cab

An early style circuit voiced for a flat frequency response, GZ-34 rectifier and output transformer with 3.4K primary for EL-34's make the Club 40 a direct descendant to the early JTM-50. The early plexi circuit as used in the Classic 45 is carried over in the Club 40. The output transformer is a Drake replica unit specifically designed for EL-34's however will also work with various other tubes such as 6L6, 5881 and KT-66's.

The Club 40 head and 212 cab with Heritage 30 watt speakers is a rig that gets the goods going at manageable volumes without sacrificing tone and we have a one of a kind orange set from Greg right now. Greg has come into a small batch of Marshall NOS knobs - yes, the real thing! - that look very cool! We had him do an additional mod of a third discrete toggle that switches between a tube or solid state rectifier so options for spongy or quick attack is totally up to you. The Club 40 is the amp to mod if you are after a 25 watt "house" friendly amp with just a quick tube change and re-bias.
