Unplugged, this guitar sounds loud and has plenty of cut and twang for acoustic recordings and mic'ed gigs. Plugged in, it's pure 50's blues heaven with a hollow, complex sound that's perfect for blues, country, or even jazz. Take it from someone who's tried it--blending the acoustic and electric sounds while recording yields righteous results! National stopped production on these a few years ago and the Resolectric Junior has become very hard to find--especially in this condition (nearly perfect).
