The Doctor's prescription is to place the Best vertically for a tuned, more focused sound that still maintains the airy qualities of open back cabs. Rock it horizontally and you'll get a bit more low end as the port is coupled with the floor. A long throw cabinet that gets your sound permeating the entire room.
