This exceptional Collings OM-42 is the best of the best. Originally a custom order (see photo of the raw wood chosen for the back). The AAA+ Brazilian Rosewood back and sides are the best I have ever seen - a wonderful combination of quartersawn structural integrity, yet beautiful color and grain. The Adirondack top was also obviously carefully selected. The sunburst finished top and 42-style inlay on the top and fingerboard make the traditional Collings craftsmanship and superior attention to detail really stand out. The neck is a 1-3/4-inch vintage style, and the sound and playability are what you would expect from such a fine guitar. Though a used guitar, it is in mint/as-new, unplayed condition.
