Mossman Acoustic Guitars - 1976 Great PlainsThis 1976 Mossman Great Plains gives you a great vintage Rosewood sound with great volume, clear mids and highs and it really suits just about any style of playing. This has an Ebony fingerboard, Sitka Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides and just take a gander at that stunning three piece back. This is ivoroid bound, with a bound neck and fingerboard as well and has a really sharp herringbone pattern. These were made right here in Kansas for years, with the original output of Stuart Mossman's work ending at about 7,000 guitars total before the company changed hands and eventually relocated to Sulphur Springs, Texas where they currently make guitars. From Dan Crary and Emmylou Harris to John Denver and Merle Travis, many artists have chosen the great sound and exceptional build of these original Mossmans. This 1976 Mossman Great Plains is an excellent example of why they're still treasured today. With original hard case. s/n: 76-3869 USED $1,750.00 |
