This delivers great tone with a solid Sitka Spruce top and solid Sapele back and sides. This is really durable and you wouldn't hesitate to take it out to play just about anywhere with its satin finish and incredibly strong Stratabond neck. Affordable doesn't mean cheap though - the wood is top notch, the fretboard is East Indian Rosewood and the construction includes the standard X style bracing. This Martin OM-1 is perfect for anyone looking for a real, solid player at a good price. Hard case included.
