Kay Solid-Body Electrics - Vintage Reissue K161VB Thin TwinMPN: Vintage Reissue K161VB Thin Twin Woah! This tone chambered Kay Vintage Reissue K161VB Thin Twin is out of control! First popularized in the early 50s with blues players like the incredible Jimmy Reed and Howlin' Wolf. This features the same great Kay vintage looks and is loaded with the famous chrome Thin Twin single coil blade pickups with individual volume controls, 2 tone controls, and a 3 way toggle. The Kay feedback resistant bracing in the chambered body (which still weighs in at a substantial 8 lbs, 4 oz) also had a lot to do with the great sound - and it's here too. This has a parabolic arched Maple back, sides and a 3 ply curly Maple top with uber cool tigerstripe pickguard. One piece Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard and 12" radius.
