Just received this Collings D3 today and man, is it something. As with all Collings that come through the door, this one is set up perfectly straight out of the case. The 1 11/16" nut width makes it easy to get around on the fingerboard and the neck profile fits my hand like a glove. Tone-wise, this guy is very powerful! Perfect for you bluegrass guys and gals. To me, it sounds like a million bucks already, but just like fine wine, this one is sure to open up even more after some play time. I love the D3's clean look too. A+ in my book.
