Mmmm...the smell of lacquer and Spruce! This Collings D1 1 3/4" nut is another killer guitar from our friends in Austin, Texas! This guitar is an excellent example of a Collings D1. We ordered this particular one with the 1 3/4" nutwidth for the slightly wider fingerboard, which I'm personally a big fan of. The setup straight out of the case is perfect...it plays flawlessly. This one has a nice, clear and powerful midrange that would sit nicely in a mix. I think this guitar will open up nicely as well, keeping you picking AND grinning even wider for years to come!
