Fender® Solid-Body Electrics - 1978 TelecasterMPN: 1978 Telecaster This is a really nice 1978 Fender Telecaster. This is Blond on Blond with the original hard shell case. The rear pickup has been replaced with a Fralin Stock Tele and the strap buttons have been replaced with strap locks, but other than that, it is all original. Overall condition we would rate as Excellent for a '78. It is not mint as it has a few marks here and there, some slight arm-wear that is worn through the finish and plenty of back belt and rivot marks, but nothing through the finish on the back and you have to get it in the right light to see it. Couple finish cracks on the face but nothing to cause any structural concerns. Frets are excellent, with plenty of life left. Weight is 8lbs 3ozs. Case is in good solid shape and is the original.
