This particular Kala KA-FMS Flame Maple Soprano Uke is outstanding, with a clear, bright tone and great projection for its 21" overall length body (13" scale). The top is Sitka Spruce with gorgeous spalted flamed Maple back and sides - both with a gloss finish. The neck is solid Mahogany with a Rosewood fretboard. This also features great detailing with a synthetic bone nut and saddle and exceptional amber-colored geared tuners - one of the reasons we love these ukes. These are real players with great sound and a great feel. This Kala KA-FMS Flame Maple Soprano Uke is one of the most beautiful, in sound and appearance.
