The Custom Shop supplemented the original BB-MB with more Mid-Boost Control, adding a more aggressive "bite" to your sound and up to +12db of mid-treble boost. "I plugged in this pedal with a Dr. Z Prescription Jr. combo and a Grosh Electrajet w/P-90s. This version of the BB allowed me to dial in my tone perfectly. Everything from a rich, full and gain-y Neal Schon sound to a less gain-y, slightly mid-scooped SRV-ish vibe. I could definitely use this as a main overdrive unit on my board...plenty of gain. Plus, the Xotic effects are dead quiet...couple this with an AC Booster and you're talking huge, complex overdrive.
