BOSS Effect Pedals - SD-1 Mystery Mod PedalMPN: SD-1 Mystery Mod Pedal This BOSS SD-1 Mystery Mod Pedal is awesome. It certainly has some aesthetic play wear (see photos), but still works great. Here, BOSS' unique asymmetric overdrive circuitry has been modified, giving this overdrive pedal a sound of its own. We don't know exactly what was done to this guy, but we do know that it sounds cool, with a heavier low end, and more dirt all around. Definitely worth a spot on your board, this BOSS SD-1 Mystery Mod Pedal is a one of a kind overdrive pedal. "The mod makes this pedal way darker and somewhat chaotic. The bass is much more exposed, and the output is much higher than a standard SD-1. In a way, this mod reminds me of some of the Zvex pedal sounds. This would be a great pedal to add to your board as a second overdrive used primarily for fat, low-end drive.
