Designed and hand-built by Andrew Drake in Nevada, Iowa, the craftsmanship on this instrument is extraordinary. With a beautiful 5A Quilted Maple top, and a semi-hollow Mahogany body, it has superb resonance and tone. It has a quarter sawn Wenge neck with two carbon fiber stab bars and a dual-action truss rod, making it extremely stable. It's Wenge fingerboard has a figured Mahogany binding and plays smooth, and its double cutaway allows for easy playing in higher positions. It runs 9V active with two EMG HB pickups. No detail or appointment is left unattended, with a quilted Maple veneer on the front of the peghead and a Mahogany veneer on the back, Ebony dot control knobs, and a durable oil varnish providing protection and a gorgeous satin-esque luster. Hipshot Ultralite tuners and a Hipshot 2-Point Super Tone bridge. Stunning looks and amazing sound, this Drake 'Wilma' Semi-Hollow Bass comes with a gig bag.
