This Vintage 1975 Gibson G3 Bass is awesome. With three single coil pickups wired in a humbucking configuration, a change from the 'sliding' humbucker of the earlier G1 Grabber Bass, this instrument is extremely versatile. Use the pickup selector to switch between the forward position (front and middle pickups in a humbucking configuration), back position (middle and back humbucking), or middle position which activates all three pickups for a 'buck-and-a-half' sound. It has a bolt-on neck and a Maple fingerboard. In Very Good condition, it has a new set of strings and a fresh set up by our shop, as well as a new input jack. There is a small ding on the back side (see photo) and minor playwear. Sounds and plays great, this 1975 Gibson G3 Bass comes with its original hard case. $700. Consignment item.
