This has become the most popular current signature model in the Ernie Ball/Music Man line. A very well thought out guitar and perfectly executed by the craftsmen at Ernie Ball. The wide/thin neck is perfect for fast single note runs, but it is wider and more rounded than say an Ibanez Prestige neck for a more refined feel. The thick slab rosewood fingerboard on this guitar is absolutely stunning. The nice reddish/black hue with subtle striping goes perfectly with the "none more black" paint job and matching headstock. This one has a deluxe piezo option great for acoustic textures or blending it in with the custom Dimarzio magnetic pickups on clean passages for some luxurious shimmer. The workmanship is flawless, more in line with a custom builder like Anderson, than typical production guitars and the set up doesn't get any better. The vibrato system is one of the best on the market, it floats but doesn't get in the way of palm mutes and the rounded edges and smooth half cover over the bridge pieces make it oh so comfy and less likely to snag your palm when "rocking!" A guitar worthy of the shred master on the headstock. Comes with a great custom case that is fitted to allow leaving the vibrato bar in place!
