This used 2004 McPherson MG 5.0 XPW is spectacular and in Excellent Plus condition - it looks brand new save for a tiny bit of lacquer shrinkage on the back center seam. Structurally perfect and absolutely no buckle rash, dings or mars. This has an extremely tight grained Engelmann Spruce top and bold East Indian Rosewood back and sides, beautifully set off with Koa binding. Combine these select woods with high quality craftsmanship, a 5-inch body depth, and an offset elliptical soundhole for increased resonance, and you get one powerful sound. It has an LR Baggs under saddle pickup already installed too, so you're ready to play out. This XPW has an 'extra-punchy' tone, a slightly larger soundhole, and a slightly wider neck with a 1 27/32" nutwidth making it really ideal for fingerstyle players or anyone favoring a little more room. Whether fingerpicking or strumming hard, complex tones pour from this unique guitar. It has a full low-end and a clear, pronounced midrange. Serial #0170.
