This Collings CJ G Maple SB Custom is truly unique and is a great example of the special work this great Austin builder does. One of the things that sets this amazing instrument apart from other CJs is the Adirondack straight (non-scalloped) bracing with three transverse braces giving the top more compression resulting in exceptional classic tone. The top here is German Spruce with a hand applied color, which has been paired beautifully with shaded, figured Maple back and sides - simply stunning. This is all set off beautifully with ivoroid binding and every detail we've come to expect from Collings - MOM inlay, Gold Waverly tuners and more. This is a full scale exceptional player with a 1 3/4" nutwidth and 2 1/4" string spacing.
