This Weymann Keystone State Mandolute is an American-made vintage beauty. Setup and tuned like a standard mandolin, it was built sometime in the 1920s and is all original, from top to tailpiece. It has an inlaid pickguard, gorgeous 'rope' style binding, and hidden-gear tuners. A woody tone with a particularly sweet midrange, and it plays well. It has a repaired back crack, but is structurally sound and in Excellent condition, especially considering its age. Serial #23401-20 stamped into the top of the headstock (see photo).
