Blazer & Henkes Acoustic Guitars - OM-28MPN: BHOM28502 This beautiful Blazer and Henkes OM-28 guitar has an Alpine Spruce top specifically selected, cut, cured and made ready by Blazer and Henkes and is quite similar to American Adirondack Spruce in looks and sound. The back and sides are beautiful select Rosewood. Both have a traditional nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Willi Henkes and Rudie Blazers' keen eyes, depth of understanding of wood, and extremely high standards of craftsmanship result in new guitars like this OM that stand proud with the best of the 30s Golden Era icons. The dimensions of this guitar are very similar to a 1930 Martin OM-28, which is a model considered by many to be the Holy Grail of finger style guitars. This new guitar will be great company for its historical companion. The neck width is 1 3/4" at the nut, 2 5/16" at the 14th fret with a bridge pin spacing of 2 3/8". The profile of the neck is very similar to the average 1930 OM-28 and should be an automatic fit for those who like that style of neck. The fit and finish here are spectacular and of the highest quality. Hide glue is used throughout and the neck is reinforced but not adjustable. Includes hard shell case. $13,500.
