Blazer & Henkes Acoustic Guitars - D-18MPN: BHD18508 This Blazer and Henkes D-18 has a beautiful Alpine Spruce top that was specifically selected, cut, cured and made ready by Blazer and Henkes. It's quite similar to American Adirondack Spruce in both looks and sound. The back and sides are gorgeous Mahogany, with a traditional nitrocellulose lacquer finish all over. The dimensions of this guitar are very similar to a 1937 Martin D-18. The neck width is 1 3/4" at the nut, 2 1/4", at the 14th fret with a bridge pin spacing of 2 5/16". The profile of the neck is very similar to the average 1937 dreadnaught. The fit and finish are unparalleled and hide glue is used throughout. The neck is reinforced but not adjustable.
