This Collings D1VN SB Custom acoustic is an outstanding instrument in every respect and melds Collings' exceptional build quality of today with traditional aspects for an unbeatable sound. The top is Sitka with a stunning sunburst Collings does so well. The back and sides are rich Mahogany. This beauty sounds fantastic, rich, full and warm. There are also some special features that really make this sing - we've been custom ordering some our our Collings with a few features that pre-war acoustic fans will appreciate, such as no tongue brace, 1 3/4" nutwidth, a Vintage Now neck, and Adirondack bracing - things that may seem small but really go a long way in bringing out the tone we love. Breathtaking details here too - bone nut, butterbean tuners, Collings headstock inlay...this one is an A+ in every way. Hard case included.
