This beautiful vintage 1944 Martin 000-21 is a wonderful sounding and great playing guitar in Very Good condition. This has had some professional restoration and is ready to go for the next generation. This is very balanced tonally - both bass and treble notes ring clear and true. Not just a fingerpicking guitar though, as a medium attack with a flat pick rewards the player with quick, clean notes. It's very versatile.

The back and sides are beautiful, crack-free and straight-grained Brazilian Rosewood. The top has a tight and professionally reglued center seam. The bridge is an exact size replacement bridge. The neck has been professionally reset and re-fretted. The original tuners are here with one matching, newer button. The finish is all original, with some visible wear-through on the treble side of the fingerboard, along with very minor and normal nicks and scratches. The inside of the guitar is very nice and clean. A newer Martin hard shell case is included. This 1944 Martin 000-21 plays as good as it looks. Serial# 87246. $13,500.
