Here's where you can find gear that we don't normally carry. We're either not an official dealer for these items, or we have them in used. Either way, there's a lot of cool stuff here that we can't guarantee will be around for long!
This Takamine EC132SC has a solid Cedar top with solid Rosewood back and sides plus very cool electronics - the CTP-2 Cool Tube preamp that uses a 12AU7 dual triode vacuum tube. It's just like the name says, a 'cool' tube so it doesn't heat up the wood at all, and all your controls are right at your fingertips. This Takamine EC132SC classical is in Very Good condition and has a really wonderful sound even without electronics. USED

This NBN Acoustic Guitar has had its fair share of use, but is a great instrument. This was handmade in an old schoolhouse in Longmont, Colorado by expert craftsman Monty Novotny who produced exceptional guitars under the NBN name until 1976. One of the first small builders of the time to really take off, NBN had original, unique designs that were extremely well built, and this guitar is no exception. From its signature body shape, to its large volute, this acoustic was not meant to simply copy a Martin or a Gibson - NBN's design is all its own. It has a Sitka Spruce top, gorgeous East Indian Rosewood back and sides, offset bridge pins, and a beautiful peghead inlay.
This Consignment is a unique and rare instrument, but due to its current condition we are selling it 'As Is.' It has numerous open top cracks and sections of its binding have come off in places (see photos). A previous owner added a pickup with an input jack below the strap button, but it is not functional (see photo). It could also use a neck set and a refret. While it is playable now, this would make a great project guitar, or call the experienced luthiers in our Repair Shop for a professional restoration quote.
Artistically made and expertly crafted, this vintage NBN Acoustic Guitar comes in its original Justin Case (see photos). $2,950. Consignment item. Sorry, shipping not included. USED
This gorgeous Leo Posch DM acoustic was crafted right here in Kansas. Posch used beautiful bearclaw Adirondack Spruce for the top with Mahogany back and sides and Rosewood binding, and finished this DM with a burst. He's used hot hide glue construction and you can tell - resonance is really superb here. Details are nice too with a 1 3/4" nutwidth, bone nut and saddle. Hard case included.
"This Posch has a wonderful sweet, warm sound and nice thick mids. Really reminiscent of a vintage J-45." - Tim N.

This Moll 000 LX Prototype is stunning. Hand crafted by our very own Matt Harmon during his apprenticeship at Moll Custom Instruments, this guitar is the prototype 000. Moll liked it so much they've added it to their lineup, and it's easy to see why. Pristine construction from top to bottom, it has a Sitka Spruce top, beautiful Cocobolo back and sides, and a Mahogany neck. A more traditional design, its gorgeous slotted headstock is bound on both the front and rear (see photos), and has gold Waverly tuners with Ebony buttons. It has a bound body and fretboard, and a traditional pyramid-style bridge.
Not only does this guitar look amazing, but it's in Mint condition and has a spectacular tone. With plenty of power, it sounds a lot bigger than you would assume from its smaller body. A unique, larger-scalloped bracing design helps give it a full, rich timbre, with exceptional balance, resonance, and sustain. A great instrument in every way, we are proud to offer this Moll 000 LX Prototype. Comes with a hard case. $3,995. Consignment item. Sorry, shipping not included. USED
Here with a cool 'Tuxedo' finish, this used Gitane DG-330 John Jorgenson oozes gypsy jazz. A Selmer-style jazz guitar with a horizontal cutaway, it has a Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. With a clear tone and fantastic sustain, this instrument sounds great. It plays extremely well thanks to its comfortable U-shaped Mahogany neck, and it's loaded with a K&K gypsy jazz pickup making it ready for the stage. White pearloid body binding, a movable 'Mustache' bridge, a silver tailpiece with white insert, and pearl tuner buttons give it a smooth look. In Excellent condition, this Gitane DG-330 John Jorgenson comes with its original case. $875. Consignment item. Sorry, shipping not included. USED
Perfect for the beginning or veteran gypsy jazz player alike, this used Cigano GJ/10 is a great value. It has a solid Spruce top, laminated Rosewood back and sides, and a smooth cutaway for easy playing in the higher positions. Solid tone through its small oval (petite bouche) soundhole, this guitar is fun to play. It has been intentionally set up with a high action, and has a bit of velcro attached on the bottom of the tailpiece (see photo). Be playing like Django in no time with this Cigano GJ/10. Very Good condition, and a hard shell case included. $375. Consignment item. Sorry, shipping not included.

This very cool vintage 1910 Gibson Style O Artist Model guitar has a few issues, but is worthy of professional restoration. The bridge and pickguard are recent add ons. The tailpiece and tuners are original and in excellent condition. The top black varnish is all original and heavily wrinkled. The back finish, neck finish and side finish are all original and in very good condition. There is a long top crack from the tailpiece to the sound hole that is slightly misaligned and needs to be redone. There is also a heel crack in the neck that needs to be glued. The neck needs to be reset as well. This guitar is being sold as is, but is very restorable. The serial number of 10149 dates this guitar as 1910. No case. $3,500. Consignment item, sorry shipping not included. USED
This vintage 1952 Gibson L7 Archtop is in Excellent condition - a really tremendous player and a total beauty. It was refretted at some point ("a fantastic, professional job" to quote our own repair shop manager, Mike who looked it over) and has quite a long life ahead. This has had a pickguard on both sides in the past. The pickguards, notorious for off-gassing, were removed at some point and lost to time (ie, not included!). The body is a beautiful hand carved Spruce top with Maple back and sides - a couple of scratches on the top (see photo), but overall tip top shape. The original hard case is here, the beautiful tailpiece, and a lot of good mojo. Wonderful instrument. Serial #A 11768. $3,895. Consignment item, sorry shipping not included. USED
A really beautiful, vintage 1956 Gibson J-45! This is in Very Good Plus condition and comes with a new hard case. There are minor nicks, scratches, and play wear and the finish is worn off part of the back of the neck. However, there is no damage or breaks. This also includes the original adjustable bridge, which was an option in 1956. This is a perfect guitar for rhythm and strumming. Looks cool, sounds cool.
"An amazing guitar. Wonderful note definition and the absolute definition of what a J-45 should sound like, to me. The very large neck is both really comfortable, and a joy to play." - Mass St. Music staff.
Serial #17986-12. $5,600. Consignment item. USED
