It's not everyday we get a guitar like this - this Grosh Sunset '79 is bad to the bone. Paying homage to the early 80s rock scene, this Plum Metallic finished rock machine is loaded with a single zebra Blown '59 humbucker, a single volume control, and a whole lot of attitude. Floyd Rose bridge with locking tremolo, it has a matching headstock with a modified D-shape Maple neck and weighs in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces. Of course Grosh's exceptional craftsmanship and playability as well. This Grosh Sunset '79 comes with a custom-fit hardshell case.
Get your Ron Wood fix without spending three grand with this used Alden Cruiser Disc Zemaitis Copy. Recently modified by a good friend of the store's, its original volume plate and control knobs have been changed, and the headstock has been modded as well (see photo). Loaded with three humbuckers and five-way switching, it has a slightly thinner Mahogany body, a Rosewood fretboard, and satin-finished hardware. The setup on this guitar is incredible, so it plays very well, and the aluminum disc pickguard looks fantastic. Here in Excellent condition, this Alden Cruiser Disc Zemaitis Copy will not disappoint, especially for the price. Comes with a hard shell case. USED
This used Squier Stratocaster pays homage to Dave Gilmour's famous strat. With an extremely light body, it has a great setup, and is an absolute joy to play. Black pickguard on a black body, with cream-colored pickup covers and control knobs. Find your inner Floyd with this one. A strong, no excuses guitar, this Squier Stratocaster comes with a hardshell case.
This Squier Vintage Modified Mustang has made more than a few of the staff take a closer look. This is incredibly fun to play with a 24" scale and loaded with two really great sounding Duncan Design Mustang pickups. It feels great too with a nicely finished, chunky C shape Maple neck with a Rosewood fretboard, and just check out the Sonic Blue finish - classic. Medium Jumbo frets, 1.650" nutwidth, 9.5" neck radius and the Dynamic Vibrato tailpiece all add up to one very cool guitar.
"I'm really surprised by this guitar's responsiveness – even unplugged." - Mike R.Nice details on this Mustang include a 3-ply pearloid pickguard, vintage tint neck finish, and vintage style tuners. Pick it up and plug it in and you won't put this one down for days. As always, a free set up from our luthiers is included with this Squier Vintage Modified Mustang. This new Squier Affinity HSS Strat turned a few heads when it came in - it has a distinct 70s vibe that's very cool, plus the Affinity has undergone some upgrades that we noticed right off the bat. In addition to the great single/single/humbucker pickup configuration, the neck is noticeably smoother and nicer than any Affinity we've come across. Usually reserved as Fender's little brother or sister line, Squier has stepped it up the past few years with the great Classic Vibe and Vintage Modified lines - we're happy to see the always affordable Affinity get a facelift here too. Great player, cool vibe with the Burgundy Mist finish and black sparkle pickguard. Whether you're looking for your first guitar, a backup or just something different, this Squier Affinity HSS Strat is a steal. As always, a free set up is included. No case, but you can add on a Mass St Music gig bag for just a bit more.
Here in a White Blonde finish, this Fender® Cabronita Thinline Tele combines 'Cabronita' stylings with Fender's classic telecaster design for one cool-looking and solid sounding guitar. Its semi-hollow Ash body is very resonant, and its dual Fideli'Tron humbuckers are impressive - the neck has surprising depth, and the bridge lends plenty of drive and twang. It certainly sounds different than most humbucker-loaded teles. The unique pickguard shape and vintage strat-style bridge add to its appealing aesthetic. Controls are simple here, only three-way pickup switching and Master Volume, but that's all you need with this Fender® Cabronita Thinline Tele.
This Anderson Short Classic is outstanding! This has a slightly shorter scale length at 24 3/4" giving you amazing playability. It's loaded with two Anderson SC1 pickups plus their most popular humbucker, the medium hot HC2. The combo of the slightly-hotter-than-vintage single coil SC1 pickups with the full HC2 is just unbeatable and so versatile. That's just the half of it. You've got 5-way switching, plus Add Bridge with Splitter and the VA Booster: the tone knob is push/pull, adding the bridge to position 1 and 2. The mini toggle between the volume and tone knobs is the bridge splitter and the boost which lets you boost the pickups slightly, giving you even more saturation when needed. This is easily one of Anderson's finest. Did we mention the beautiful trans Butterscotch finish? Sharp. Buzz Feiten tuning system, locking tuners, vintage tremolo - it's all here. Hard case included.
This is a sweet 1982 Les Paul Standard in Very Good condition. The pots, neck pickup, switch and frets are all original here. The bridge pickup has been replaced with a Duncan. The cover for the neck pickup is gone. There is some play wear - scratches, dings etc (see photos), but this thing is a solid sonic beast through and through. Sounds amazing, with that great LP sustain (and heft), and comes with the original hard case too. Serial# 80772546. USED
