From one of the most beautiful places on the planet comes one of the prettiest woods on the planet, Hawaiian Koa from which this Taylor K65ce Koa 12 String was crafted. These all-Koa guitars always turn heads every time we get one in. Koa, part of the Acacia wood family, only grows in Hawaii. Although high grade Koa is always hard to find, Taylor actively seeks out some of the best sets available to build these fine guitars out of. Although Koa tops do not have the wide dynamic range of their Spruce top counterparts, these guitars have a sound that is uniquely their own and increasingly sought after. This guitar is about 7 years old and has opened up nicely. - Tim N.

This exceptional Taylor XXXV-TF Engelmann/Koa 12-Fret is a rare beauty (1 of only 35 of this model) crafted to celebrate Taylor's 35th Anniversary. This 12 fret has an incredible Engelmann Spruce top and AA grade Koa back and sides. Taylor has been able to create some truly beautiful sounding Koa instruments in the past couple of years, and this is another jewel in the crown. This unique piece is both a tribute to a vintage classic and an innovation at the same time, with a Grand Concert body - however with the other more traditional 12 fret style construction, this guitar has its own, superbly warm and resonant tone that sets it apart from both traditional 12 frets and Grand Concerts. This has more volume and snap with the warmth balanced nicely with great mid-tones too. To round this off, Taylor has added their ES pickup system so you're ready to play out. This is an amazing hybrid of modern and vintage, practicality and refinement. Bravo Taylor, and Happy 35th Anniversary.
"What a beaut! This is dolled up with just the right amount of frill and the non-marked fingerboard looks super classy. When I sat down to play this guitar, I found it extra comfortable. No reaching or sitting hunched over. For light to medium fingerstyle playing, this guitar shines. Break out your James Taylor riffs...this guitar will blow you away!" - Brian S.

This R. Taylor Style 2 has one of the most breathtaking, subtle sunbursts we've ever seen - on a superb Adirondack Spruce top. This is a tremendous guitar from top to bottom, with Indian Rosewood back and sides and Rosewood binding. Check out the heel photo - the binding is very unique, appearing to be dark on one side and light on the other, but just is so right below the heel, showing a dark stripe of grain on one side which gracefully goes lighter from the bout to match all around. Amazing. This also features antique Gotoh Super 510 tuners and a stunning Abalone rosette. Very comfortable to play with a 15-inch lower bout, this is a dream for fingerstyle players, but the Ad top will really surprise you when you dig in. Amazing response, and truly beautiful tone. Hard case included.

"One thing I really like about Taylor guitars is their incredible quality control and ability to manufacture guitars that are consistently flawless. Attention to detail is definitely not overlooked on this 810ce either. The photos do the talking in that department. Tone-wise, this is one has a great low-end warmth to it, but still retains the great sparkle that Taylor is known for. A great guitar for any live situation, but equally suited for recording". - Brian S.
