Ampeg B-410HE

Ampeg Bass Amps - B-410HE

With its four 10" speakers and 1" horn, the Ampeg B-410HE can really rock the house. Suitable for most sizes of venues, the 8-Ohm enclosure features heavy-duty recessed handles and detachable casters, making it supremely portable. The extended range of the B-410HE makes it ideal for 5- or 6-string bass players seeking solid low frequency performance (all the way down to 40Hz), and shimmering top-end up to 18kHz.

The rear jackplate features two 1/4" jacks wired in parallel, allowing for easy daisy-chaining from one speaker to another. Either jack can be used as an input or a through connection. Ampeg SVT-15E

Ampeg Bass Amps - SVT-15E

When only the fat, warm sound of a 15” speaker will get the job done, we highly recommend the SVT-15E. Armed with a massive five-pound magnet, the SVT-15E’s custom-designed 15” speaker generates chest-thumping low end like nobody’s business—all the way down to 33Hz. Team it up with the SVT-CL head and maybe an SVT-12HE, for top-end, and you’re guaranteed to get the dance floor moving.

Ampeg SVT-810 Anniversary

Ampeg Bass Amps - SVT-810 Anniversary

When the Rolling Stones toured in the late sixties and early seventies, the world was exposed to a new technology - the Super Valve Technology or the SVT. Since then, bass players recognize the unmistakable Ampeg sound - 300 watts of pure tube power exciting eight 10" drivers. The sonic result is a foundation of solid lows, cutting mids, and satisfying highs.

Today's updated reissue Anniversary models offer the same soul-shaking vintage tone in traditional and contemporary options. The SVT-810AV enclosure employs the same driver technology that make Ampeg enclosures the number one name in speakers. In excellent condition. USED

Ampeg SVT-1000

Ampeg Bass Amps - SVT-1000

When only high-powered performance will do, turn to the SVT-1000 to get the job done. With up to 1350-Watts RMS output and state-of-the-art Optocoupler Limiters to prevent unwanted power amp distortion, the Ampeg SVT-1000 is a veritable workhorse. The Texture Control (tube-emulation circuit) can be used to overdrive the amplifier, creating a more aggressive sound - without any of the typical (and harsh-sounding) clipping often associated with solid-state electronics. The onboard 9-Band Graphic EQ can be used to fine-tune your sound, or you might want to use it to set up a "second channel" for bass solos, complete with its own independent volume control.

Ampeg SVT-3Pro

Ampeg Bass Amps - SVT-3Pro

There's a reason this amp is a best seller - it delivers the goods! With up to 450 watts and the sweet sound of tubes, the SVT-3PRO is a top choice. It's all about tone. The SVT-3PRO's Frequency control allows you to select the center frequency for the Midrange control, giving you a choice of five distinct 'voices' for the Midrange. The center frequencies are 220Hz, 450Hz, 800Hz, 1.6kHz and 3kHz. And if that's not enough, you can use the 9-Band Graphic EQ to custom tailor your sound even more. Or use the EQ to set up a footswitchable "second channel" for your show-stopping bass solo.

Ampeg V4 Head

Ampeg Bass Amps - V4 Head

Magnavox era, mid 70's 100 watt guitar or bass amp head. This amp has been long referred to as the "Little SVT" but it still packs a serious punch. Plugged into a 410/412 or 810 bass cabinet, it is actually more practical than a 300 watt SVT for small to medium sized venues and when used as a guitar amp into a 4 x 12, look out!! Big, fat and meaty bass and guitar tones come out of this guy and its sophisticated tone section allows this amp to produce very musical and unique voices, very different than that of the Marshall and Fender amps of its day. This amp is also very popular as a recording amp for bass. The Rolling Stones and the Small Faces were big fans of this amp for both guitar and bass and they toured (and recorded) with these Ampegs (V4's and SVT's) exclusively in the 70's. This amp has been recently serviced and still has its original and fully functional RCA 7027A power tubes! We've had a blast trying out various boutique overdrive and distortion units with this amp and found it to be a fantastic foundation to build a unique sonic palette with. Particularly cool were the Keeley modded Boss pedals and the SPF "Red Threat". The dynamic and sonic range of the 7027 power section and the sophisticated tone controls offer wickedly evil and rich voices when using high gain pedals. Fans of Black Sabbath and Queens of the Stone Age, need to check this amp out!! This is high cholesterol tube tone at its finest! USED
