Very nice gloss top Collings MT2 mandolin. This has an Adirondack Spruce top and incredibly attractive Maple back and sides, and a cool 'haircut' headstock. The sound is resonant, full and lively. This Collings MT wide nut mandolin has a beautiful Englemann Spruce top with stunning Maple back and sides and a beautiful bound pickguard. This has a wider nut width at 1 3/16ths inches - a very sought after modification for some folks. We've only had 3 or 4 ever come through, so we were happy to be able to get this one. The sound is really lively, very organic and woody. The other thing this particular mando has is some real mojo. There are great instruments and then there are those really killer ones that really sing and sparkle and this is one of those. Dare I say it's even kind of a sexy mando? I think so.
