In our years of carrying fine acoustic instruments, mandolins have had an equal share with acoustic guitars. From the highest-end Collings or Weber to the amazing value Eastmans and Summits, we've got something for everybody.
What a beauty! This Collings MF GT Mandolin has it all - sound, playability, and a fantastic look. Beautifully built by our friends at Collings, it has a fully carved and highly resonant Adirondack Spruce top, and Maple back and sides. Its rich, natural sound is supported by tone bar bracing and pours from this instrument. Its timbre is rounded and pure, with a bell-like high end.
Flawlessly finished with a satin nitrocellulose lacquer on the back and a gloss top, the details on this mando are superb. A grained ivoroid binding, inlaid Collings logo on an Ebony peghead veneer, and a seemless sunburst finish all show its expert craftsmanship. It has an original Collings one-piece tailpiece, an adjustable Ebony bridge, and nickel tuners with Ivoroid buttons. Comes with a hard case.

We are so excited to have this Clark F5 Mandolin in the store. This mando was handmade in Boise, Idaho by luthier Austin Clark, and the quality of his craftsmanship is easy to see, and even easier to hear. It sounds incredible. The tone is very balanced and is equally at home with individual note fiddle tune playing, or a solid rhythm chop.
Clark has gained a reputation as the builder of very fine mandolins and archtop guitars for good reason. He only uses the most select materials, as is apparent when inspecting and playing this beautiful F5. The back, sides and neck are broad flamed Maple, the top is select Red Spruce, and the fingerboard is Ebony. The varnish finish adds depth and color to the sunburst stain. The satin engraved tailpiece gives a subtle compliment to the excellent fit and finish throughout. Hardshell case included with this Clark F5 Mandolin.

This Gold Tone Mandola is perfect for those wanting a more unique sound. Tuned lower and with a larger body than a mandolin, this instrument is traditionally tuned CGDA like a viola. It has a rich, deep tone, and allows players to experiment with less conventional keys. The lower register is also great for accompanying the vocalist. Here with a solid Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, and a Rosewood fingerboard. This Gold Tone Mandola plays very well.

This vintage 1920s Gibson F4 Mandolin is quite the player. Made sometime in the 20s, we can't pinpoint the exact year because the serial number is too faded to read. But its vintage sound is unmistakeable, with a rich, woody tone and a sweet high end. It has had some work done, including a replacement adjustable bridge, replacement tuners, and a repaired top crack (see photo). Beautiful color, a smooth neck, and pristine headstock inlay. This 1920s Gibson F4 Mandolin comes with its very worn original hard case. $4,500. Consignment item. Sorry, shipping not included.

All original here, including the PAT # adjustable bridge, tuners which function perfectly, and a gorgeous black top finish. It has a small, tight crack in the back at the lower bout, as well as some minor nicks and playwear, but is in otherwise great shape especially for an instrument of its age. It has a very nice and straight neck, with a fully functional adjustable truss rod. The frets remain at a good height, and its sound is rich with good volume. This 1928 Gibson Style A Mandolin comes with its worn but original soft case. $2,600. Consignment item. Sorry, shipping not included.
