Take it from a mild boost with a little warm edge to a full out '70s Marshall on 10, and it always stays amazingly natural and transparent. It always sounds good no matter where you set any of the controls. The EQ controls on these units are like no other we have come across. The highs are always pleasing and never spiky sounding, and the low end control is really warm, adding a Marshall low end thump that never gets boomy. This Xotic BB Preamp is extremely versatile. It can rock really hard, harder than the AC Booster, but it can also clean up to give you a more bluesy overdrive as well.
This is another outstanding pedal from the Xotic folks. These pedals have become the house favs here. Incredibly natural and transparent with EQ like no others out there. It's capable of a 30dB+ clean boost with an adjustable 15dB two band active EQ which adds a wide range of harmonic content to your ideal sound. The BB also utilizes a pre-gain stage which allows the pedal to go from a very pristine clean to a very smooth, compressed, overdriven sound.
The Xotic BB Preamp also features true bypass for eliminating any signal interference when switched off, and is hand wired and hand crafted in the U.S.A. Can be used with AC adaptor (optional) or 9V Battery.

Handmade in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this used Heavy Electronics Hwy 77 Distortion Pedal is simple yet powerful. Made with a very open voice, it has great low-end response and loads of headroom. This used Fulltone GT-500 Pedal combines high-gain distortion and boosted overdrive into one stompbox. Here in Very Good condition, the boost side is a rather clean boost till you turn up the drive, but it stays very transparent even as the drive is cranked. The distortion side has everything you want - touch sensitivity, nice distortion, and loads of gain. The tone controls are very reactive and specific - you can boost or cut with little effect on the other ranges. This Fulltone GT-500 Pedal sounds great at stage volumes or in the bedroom/practice space. USED

Its pure 24-bit stereo signal path has appealed to singers, drummers, and keyboardists as well as guitarists, and it's easy to see why. Precisely and expertly executed, this Jetter Gold 45/100 Pedal embodies the nuance and tone of classic JTM 45/100s. After studying an original JTM 45/100 and countless vintage plexis, Jetter nailed it on the head with this one. It captures all the essential qualities of the amp. With plenty of gain, crank it up without getting too cloudy or mushy. The mids are rich and fat, and the low-end has 'just-enough-sag'. The Lean/Rich control approximates the tone of the two different channels. When completely turned to the 'lean' side, it simulates being plugged in to the Normal channel, when on the 'rich' side it's like running through the bright input. Set it in the middle and it's like jumpering the inputs. The true tone of a generation, this Jetter Gold 45/100 Pedal is fantastic.
