Fortunately, we have selected a small but powerful group of pickup artisans who truly understand how to achieve the ultimate tone. These manufacturers have developed their product lines for real world applications through feedback from professionals and "at home" tone nuts alike. We always stock a large inventory, but if you are looking for that something special, feel free to call us with your request. We love making customers happy.
This Fralin P90 Dogear -5% Underwound Pickup is Lindy's take on Gibson's classic single coil. This is a very versatile pickup with a fuller, wider range compared to many other replacement P90s. With the volume rolled down, Strat-like single coil output is easily achieved, and with the volume turned up the pickup is a focused overdriven joy to be heard. Just like Gibson's P90, these have a big mid-range when used clean, and a chainsaw grind when pushed hard. Those looking for more boosted mids will love this, while those looking for a little darker overall tone should check out the Grosh P90s. This particular Fralin P90 is -5% Underwound, with 5% less windings than a stock P90. Perfect for the neck position on a guitar. Gibson lead. Available with Black or Cream cover - indicate color preference in 'reference' box when checking out online.

This Fralin Blues Special Tele Neck Pickup is one of our go-to pickups and one of the reasons we love Fralin. Compared to the stock set, Lindy winds these 5% hotter with a polynylon wire instead of a plain enamel wire. This means a thicker, fuller tone that has more output and midrange than a stock Tele neck. The hybrid magnet stagger(i.e. raised D-string) balances string to string output and really evens out the pickup. These pickups have less of an edge to them, making them a little easier on the ears if the stock Tele twang isn't your thing. Without a cover, the Blues Special Tele Neck is also more open sounding than a traditional tele neck position.

This Fralin Twangmaster 8000 Pickup is a split single coil with a nickel humbucker cover. The non-adjustable Alnico V rod pole pieces add even more clarity than the P92s, and because of the split design they are completely silent of 60-cycle hum. Lindy uses this exact pickup in the neck position of one of his own guitars.
