This Fralin P90 Humcanceling Dogear Neck Pickup sounds fantastic - just like his original P90s, these have a big mid-range when used clean, and a chainsaw grind when pushed hard. The only difference is these are a two coil pickup that will cancel unwanted 60 cycle hum. Lindy refined the magnet and coil wire combination in order to retain the subtle brightness of standard P90s. Finally, a great alternative for players who want the P90 sound with out the hum! This Fralin Unbucker 8k Pickup - Nickel is perfect if you've been looking for a guitar that has it all. If you're tired of switching out your Strat and Les Paul between songs, here's the answer. The Unbucker is a humbucker that sounds a little more like a single coil yet still retains some of the great properties of a humbucker. Lindy winds the screw coil stronger than the slug coil, so when you tap the pickup it actually sounds like a true single coil. Sweet!

Just like Gibson's P90, these have a big mid-range when used clean, and a chainsaw grind when pushed hard. "Two really nice surprises on this L.R. Baggs Venue D.I.: First, the tuner is deadly accurate. I was using a Collings OM with a Fishman Natural and the tuner is so easy to see, and spot on. Secondly, the Boost switch sounds fantastic. In fact, I left the boost on and used my vol pedal to pull is back a bit, but still have room to get over the top if necessary.
