Finally, another Crowdster Plus makes it our way! This one is Burnished Orange Burst (which is one of the best finishes we have seen). It is remarkably versatile and has become far more than just an "Acoustic/Electric" guitar. It is fabulous as an Acoustic instrument that can play at very high volumes without feedback, and it also serves as a tremendous electric guitar. The specially designed M bridge pickup really works and reminds us of the bridge pickup on a Les Paul Deluxe. You can combine these two sounds and create all new tone pallets. The Anderson Crowdster has quickly become the #1 instrument of its type and it is a well deserved spot.

This guitar accomplishes what pickup installed acoustic guitars and thousands of dollars of outboard gear have a difficult time accomplishing. Rich and vibrant acoustic tones come forth with delicacy and clarity, without the annoying harshness and "quack" normally associated with solid body acoustic/electric guitars. Couple this with the special designed M-series mini humbucker that really rocks and you have one of the most versatile instruments on the planet. Combine the two pickups and you can truly create some of the most unique sounds. Ergonomically, Anderson did not try to make this an "acoustic for electric" players - it's truly original and innovative. Anderson uses the Buzz Feiten Tuning System and their exclusive stainless steel frets for a playability way beyond just about anything from Martin or Taylor. We especially like the body profile and the gentle body contour for "play all night" comfort. This is really a fine instrument and the black-burst finish really completes the package.

Yet another absolutely beautiful Anderson Crowdster Plus in one of our favorite finishes - Burnished Orange Burst w/Binding. This finish is especially rich over this tightly quilted 10+ top. These are really amazing guitars and are far more versatile than most people realize. This specially designed Humbucking pickup flat out rocks on its own, but use this in combination with the acoustic pickup and you have a whole new sound palette to work with. Of course it does the straight acoustic sound at high volume levels before feedback perfectly. Of course all the details are perfect as you would expect from an Anderson instrument.

The ever-hard-to-find Crowdster Plus. In our opinion, one of the coolest and most versatile guitars on the market. Beautiful Natural with Honey Bursted Edge finish and of course a perfect 10 quilted maple top. The addition of the M pickup blended with the LR Baggs acoustic pickup allows for tone combinations that are truly unique yet can still be very genuine to a true acoustic or electric sound. As with all, and we mean all, Tom Anderson guitars we receive it is nothing short of perfection in quality of construction and sound. An absolutely beautiful, and so far rare, Crowdster Plus. This is clearly one of the most versitle instruments ever created. This one has a see-through black burst finish over one of the most amazing flame maple tops we have ever seen. The addition of the M pickup blended with the LR Baggs acoustic pickup allows for tone combinations that are truly unique yet can still be very genuine to a true acoustic or electric sound. This won't be here long, so grab it while you can! What a gorgeous guitar. Quilt top in Desert Sunset Burst with binding. The back is a mahogany back for a rich and vibrant midrange response. Typically, these guitars sell so fast, we have had a hard time truly evaluating the sounds this guitar is capabe of. We had a chance to spend a little more time with this guitar, running it into PA systems, acoustic amps and trying out the new Fishman Aura pre-amp/modeling system. A couple of things jumped out at us this time around. First off, the sustain of these guitars is unreal, allowing one to achieve controllable(!) feedback when running at high volume. Hold a single note, and it blooms into beautiful sustaining harmonics. Play full chords, and it never goes into a full howl. This opens up new creative opportunities for the performing acoustic player. Secondly, the EQ section has continued to impress us. It's very easy to use, but very powerful, either through a PA or an acoustic amp. Tom and Lloyd Bagg's really did their homework on this and it shows in a real live environment. We highly recommend the new Fishman Aura modeler with this guitar. While the pickup sounds great by itself, if you REALLY want to nail the acoustic guitar with a condenser mic sound, the Aura is VERY believable and the Crowdtser provides the perfect platform to start with. Oh, we could go on and on.
When Anderson released this guitar last year it was an immediate hit. Due to David Crowder's popularity and many professional guitarists using this model as their main touring acoustic guitar, we haven't been able to keep these in stock. And for good reason - this model produces the most musical acoustic/electric tone on the market, and it is completely and utterly resistant to feedback. A true Godsend for the working musician and worship leader, this guitar accomplishes what pickup installed acoustic guitars and thousands of dollars of outboard gear have a difficult time accomplishing. Rich and vibrant acoustic tones come forth with delicacy and clarity, without the annoying harshness and "quack" normally associated with solid body acoustic/electric guitars. Ergonomically, Anderson did not try to make this an "acoustic for electric" players. The neck profile and scale length are typical of the classic designs of Martins and Taylors, 1 3/4" nut width and a 24.9" scale length - essentially on OM neck on a solid body, very comfortable but substantial. AND, Anderson uses the Buzz Feiten Tuning System and their exclusive stainless steel frets for a playability way beyond just about anything from Martin or Taylor. We especially like the body profile and the gentle body contour for "play all night" comfort. A benchmark guitar for the working professional and worship leader. See it on tour near you with the David Crowder Band, a phenomenal music experience!
This gorgeous guitar was featured on the Anderson web site as the Guitar of the Week! Thanks Roy for featuring this beautiful piece.
