You've heard us rave about their acoustics, but many people don't know that Collings has started to make electric guitars! These fine instruments take everything that you've come to expect from their acoustics and transforms them into electric beauties. The Jason Lollar pickups scream, the detail work is impeccable, the feel and playability are first-rate, and... well, you get the idea. All in all, these electrics are as "right" as they can get.
Collings electrics are in very limited production, so check back often to see if we have one, or email us so we can tell you when one comes in. More often than not, these guitars are sold before they hit the floor. Check out what Collings has to say about them on their site.

This Collings I-35 Standard is unreal. I just spent some time with it plugged into the 65 Amps London 18 combo and pulled out some incredible tones that would make any studio engineer absolutely thrilled. The lower output and "airy" quality to the Lollar pickups really allow this guitar to breathe and churn up beautiful overtones and rich sustain in higher gain situations. Through a cleaner setting on the London, the top end was clear as a bell with mids like butter. You seriously can't get any better than this guitar. Team it up with your favorite vintage Fender, Vox or boutique amp and prepare to be amazed like me! - Brian S.
The only thing standard about this beauty is the name. This is simply outstanding on all counts with a premium fully carved Flame Maple top with a killer tobacco burst, and semi-hollow Honduran Mahogany body. It has an inset Alder center block, Tone Pros bridge and tailpiece for reliable, resonant tone and it's loaded with Lollar humbuckers which sound amazing. Every detail here is impeccable. It just doesn't get much better than this. This Collings I-35 Standard comes with a nice hard case as well.

This Collings I-35 Deluxe is, well, to quote Guitar Buyer's 5-star review of it..."as good as it gets". Simply a 10 on every count, from wood selection and build to tone to finish. Outstanding, as you'd expect from the hands of Bill Collings. This has a fully carved top-grade Quilted Maple top with a breathtaking burst (high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish!). The back and sides are the best Honduran Mahogany with an Alder center block in the body. Custom Lollar humbucking pickups fuel this beauty, with '50s style wiring, grained ivoroid binding and custom ivoroid knobs. What does this mean for the sound? Every piece of the construction is geared to work together to ensure ultimate tone. Definitely not a 335 homage. This is its own sonic beast, incredibly responsive, the custom Lollars are perfect with clarity and bite...this Collings I-35 Deluxe is perfection. Deluxe case included.
