How did Mass. St. Music become the #1 dealer in the world of Don Grosh Guitars, for the second year in a row? It's easy to sell a product you really believe in, especially when you know your customer will love it as much as you do. Our own John Flynn and Brian Soden own Grosh guitars and can tell you firsthand how exceptional these guitars really are.
Don Grosh Guitars (and now Pickups too) represent the very best of what a small, passionate luthier can accomplish using a combination of tried and true traditional designs and modern construction techniques. Don has built and worked for many professional musicians, and this real-world knowledge finds its way into everything that he builds. Only the very best materials are used, all of which are personally selected by Don himself from a private stock of tonewoods. Don Grosh consistently raises the bar, competing with the very best vintage and modern instruments.
All Don Grosh Guitars are simply outstanding - the ElectraJets, Retro Classics, Hollow Carve Tops, Basses, and Set Neck Customs have the same vibe and timeless value.
We're proud to also be an Authorized Grosh Reserve Dealer! The Grosh Reserve guitars are the pinnacle of Don's talents - impeccable, premier, limited edition one-off and very small run guitars. These special guitars are crafted from master-grade old-growth body and neck woods direct from Don's personal reserve wood collection and will have configurations and features not otherwise available. Released a few times a year, on a first-come first-serve basis.

This is a fantastic pre-owned Grosh Retro Classic with a few upgrades that are quite costly these days. First is the neck, which has both a full gloss finish and a Brazilian fingerboard. This combination retails at an additional $500, which would bring the retail of this guitar new to $3450 - that doesn't include the powerbridge.
The Fishman Powerbridge on this allows for a nice acoustic guitar sound to be used in full or blended mode with the electric pickups, giving you a really unique and useful tonal array via the Fishman Powerbridge Pedal which is included (see photo). We would rate the condition of this guitar as Very Good Plus. It has been played -there is some belt rash on the back although nothing through the finish, and there is a very small ding on the top, and a light scratch or two, but none of this is serious. The frets are still at 85% life. The guitar plays fantastic, and as expected, sounds incredible as well.
The body is a sweet piece of Alder. Pickups are Lindy Fralin Vintage Hots in the Neck and Middle with an SP43 in the bridge. Still to this day one of the most versatile strat setups out there. This Grosh Retro Classic is meant to be played. It has a closet-classic look with a 60s vibe that just looks and feels right. Original spec sheet and bridge come in the original hard case. $1,795. Consignment item, sorry no free shipping. USED

This Grosh Retro Classic S gives you a perfect blend of classic and modern. The one piece Maple neck on this has a 50s soft V shape with 6150 medium frets, and the Alder body is loaded with Grosh 60s Fat pickups. You couldn't get more versatility than the classic 5-way controls plus Grosh's blend control added in. This just plays incredibly well and screams classic. Feels fantastic and the sonic possibilities are limited only by your imagination. Retail on this Grosh Retro Classic S is $3,080. Give us a call at 1-800-747-9980 or email us at for our price.

This Grosh Retro Classic S is an incredibly gorgeous guitar! You simply can't beat a killer one-piece Ash body in amber burst. Tone and feel is pure vintage Strat with great modern appointments such as locking tuners and the infamous "blend" control, which allows you to blend in the neck neck or bridge pickup when not selected with the 5-way. I'm a huge fan of Don's new single coil pickups, and having the Fat 60s model in the bridge makes that position full and rounded, while retaining classic Strat characteristics." - Brian S.
This outstanding used Retro Classic Sis a one piece Swamp Ash body with a killer Amber Burst finish. This is in Mint condish, and is loaded with Grosh 60s Vintage pickups in the neck and middle positions and a Grosh 60s fat in the bridge - nice! Controls are 5-way, Volume, Tone, Blend Control. The nutwidth here is 1 5/8" and the fretboard has a 10" radius. Super playable, superb condition...simply an excellent guitar.
