This 12" Bright Angel was custom made for Mass Street Music and features a premium curly maple neck, rim and resonator, plum sunburst with polished lacquer finish, premium African ebony fingerboard and peghead, and Bright Angel inlays. One look at the detail, fit and finish of this banjo shows why Ome is regarded as one of the finest banjo makers today. The fretwork on the scooped neck is impeccable. The scroll peghead, fingerboard and rim are all ivoroid bound, and the rim is ivoroid capped as well. The 12" rolled brass tone ring gives this beauty increased reponse and plenty of sweet-sounding "cluck" if you want it. Hand engraved metal parts solidify this as the nicest open-back banjo we've had in a long time.
