How did Mass St. Music become the #1 dealer in the world of Don Grosh Guitars, for the second year in a row? Well, it's easy to sell a product you really believe in, especially when you know your customer will love it as much as you do. Our own John Flynn owns several Grosh guitars and can tell you first hand how exceptional these guitars really are.
Don Grosh Guitars represent the very best of what a small, passionate luthier can accomplish using a combination of tried and true traditional designs and modern construction techniques. A true custom builder, Don has built and worked for many professional musicians, and this real-world knowledge finds its way into everything that he builds. Only the very best materials are used, all of which are personally selected by Don himself from a private stock of tonewoods. If you have ever asked, "Doesn't anybody make them like they used to?", the answer is YES! Don consistently raises the bar, competing with the very best vintage and modern instruments.
Many of his instruments, most notably the Retro Classics, have been given rave reviews by Guitar Player, Vintage Guitar, and other publications. About the Retro Classic, Guitar Player said this: "You can follow many trails searching for a fine original or replica Strat, but it's doubtful you'll find anything that sounds or plays better than the Grosh." We agree, but the superlatives are not reserved solely for the Retro Classic. His Bent Top Customs, Hollow Carve Tops, Basses, and his Set Neck Custom have the same vibe and timeless value.
When we get a semi-hollow electric from Don Grosh Guitars, it's an occasion for celebration. These are some of the more rare Groshes out there, so feast your eyes on what we've had and what we might have.

It just doesn't get much cooler than this spectacular Grosh Retro Classic Hollow T. This T is firing on all cylinders with a Swamp Ash body, cat-eye F hole, and classic two tone burst, set off really beautifully with a scraped binding. The fretboard is Madagascar Rosewood on a Maple neck. Playability is exceptional here with a 50s carve neck (soft V to C shape), a 10" radius and 1 11/16" nutwidth. How does it sound? Freaking fantastic! Even unplugged you can tell this is incredibly resonant. Plug it in and the Grosh G-90 (neck) and Grosh GT (bridge) will knock your socks off. Don has really done a tremendous job with Grosh pickups and this is the perfect combo for this T. Grosh hard case included.

This gorgeous Grosh Hollow T Custom has a stunning quilt top with a Faded Tiger Eye finish - really unique and beautiful. This is used, in Excellent condition. We're rating it as that due to finish mars on the headstock and bass side of the upper bout (see photos). Our shop believes the finish reacted to something, leaving the marks. They are visible in the right light, but are not a glaring flaw. Structurally this is in exceptional shape and is everything we've come to love about Grosh...stunning binding, 3-D quality wood, superb feel...and of course it's a sonic masterpiece, loaded with Fralin P-90s. This Grosh Hollow T Custom comes with the original hard case as well. $2,250. Consignment item, sorry no free shipping. USED
