Founded in 1997 by several talented Spanish and Portuguese luthiers, Cordoba has been making exceptional and affordable classical, flamenco and gypsy-style guitars. They were commissioned in 1998 to create a thin-bodied acoustic-electric cutaway nylon string guitar for the Gipsy Kings and have collaborated with Fishman in creating the first blended pickups for nylon guitars utilizing microphone and piezo transducers. They're innovative and affordable while maintaining traditional craftsmanship and quality.

The Cordoba C5 is a full size acoustic nylon-string guitar with a solid Canadian Cedar top, African Mahogany back and sides, and a rosewood fingerboard. Handmade in the traditional Spanish style, the Cordoba C5 also features an all wood inlaid rosette, rosewood binding, hand carved headstock, 7 fan bracing system, and bone nut and saddle.
