This Korg Beatlab Digital Metronome was originally made for percussionists, but we've found it's really perfect for any player looking to make some real improvements. There are tons of options and features. With the Program mode you can build your own practice patterns - make easier or more complex - you decide. You can combine up to nine types of rhythm and accent at a beat or tempo that you specify. Quarter notes, eighth notes, sixteenth notes, as well as triplets – even pick five to nine strikes per beat. Adjust the rhythm and accent volume using BeatLab’s five sliders to create an original pattern that’s perfect for your own needs. You can store twenty-four programs in internal memory. There’s also a Chain mode that will memorize eight chains, each containing up to sixteen programmed patterns. Make the tempo speed up or slow down gradually, or switch the rhythm between eighth notes, triplets, and sixteenth notes while you practice for a real run. This Korg Pitchblack Plus is an ingenious pedal board tuner. In addition to amazingly precise tuning (with an accuracy of +/-0.1 cents) it's also True Bypass so you keep your tone intact at all times. You can also connect two guitars or basses, tune them differently, plus even store your own custom tunings. This is super tough, with an aluminum die-cast body. It gives you a DC out jack that can supply power to other effect pedals when the optional AC adaptor is used. By connecting the included DC cable, you can supply up to 200 mA of power to multiple effect pedals that require a 9V supply, simplifying the power connections on your pedal board. The Korg Pitchblack Plus is indispensable for gigs or the studio.

This new Planet Waves Chromatic Clip-On Tuner is another great design from this company. Seriously small (smallest clip-on tuner we've seen yet!) and totally accurate, this clips on your headstock and uses the vibrations of the instrument. This works with a top notch piezo transducer plus has a great backlight, so you can tune in any situation, no matter the sound or lighting situation. Calibrated for A440, but you can set calibration for any pitch from A435 to A445. There are a lot of good clip-on tuners out there, but this Planet Waves Chromatic Clip-On Tuner has the added bonus of a smaller size with great design and readability. CR2032 battery included.
