This is a really nice 1978 Fender Telecaster. This is Blond on Blond with the original hard shell case. The rear pickup has been replaced with a Fralin Stock Tele and the strap buttons have been replaced with strap locks, but other than that, it is all original. Overall condition we would rate as Excellent for a '78. It is not mint as it has a few marks here and there, some slight arm-wear that is worn through the finish and plenty of back belt and rivot marks, but nothing through the finish on the back and you have to get it in the right light to see it. Couple finish cracks on the face but nothing to cause any structural concerns. Frets are excellent, with plenty of life left. Weight is 8lbs 3ozs. Case is in good solid shape and is the original. The guitar plays and sounds great - all-in-all a solid representation of late '70s Fender. - John F.

Scratch 'n Dent - save some dough and no one will even know. This Fender® American Vintage 52 Tele is an incredible reissue guitar, and one of Fender's longest running in production - AND unfortunately just sustained some finish damage - a dent- on the side (treble side), near the jack. See last photo for detail. Nothing structural and you can't see it from the front at all.

Fender® has really hit a home run with this Fender® Classic Player's Jazzmaster - sure it looks incredibly cool, but this Mexican made, Alder-bodied beauty has great upgrades too including pickups that are hotter, the Adjusto-Matic bridge with floating tremolo tailpiece, a 9.5 fingerboard radius and better stability and sustain overall through an improved neck pocket - even the trem arm has been upgraded for more control.
"As soon as I picked this guitar up I had the sudden urge to play Wilco songs. With all the knobs and switches it was fun to try and dial in that Nels Cline sound from "Impossible Germany." I didn't quite nail the sound, but that has more to do with my playing! This Jazzmaster is a fun, great sounding guitar and the price is just right." - Matt C.
This Fender® Jazzmaster comes with deluxe gigbag.
