This incredible Fender Blacktop Tele HH delivers so much bang for the buck. This is a Mexican made, Alder bodied tele loaded with two very cool Hot Vintage Alnico Humbuckers with three way switching. It's a great player with a 9.5" radius neck and a 1.650" nutwidth. Fender has really hit a home run on this Fender Blacktop Tele HH in playability, sound, and build, balanced with a very nice price.

This is a really nice 1978 Fender Telecaster. This is Blond on Blond with the original hard shell case. The rear pickup has been replaced with a Fralin Stock Tele and the strap buttons have been replaced with strap locks, but other than that, it is all original. Overall condition we would rate as Excellent for a '78. It is not mint as it has a few marks here and there, some slight arm-wear that is worn through the finish and plenty of back belt and rivot marks, but nothing through the finish on the back and you have to get it in the right light to see it. Couple finish cracks on the face but nothing to cause any structural concerns. Frets are excellent, with plenty of life left. Weight is 8lbs 3ozs. Case is in good solid shape and is the original. The guitar plays and sounds great - all-in-all a solid representation of late '70s Fender. - John F.
