This USA made Fender 60th Anniversary P Bass is a beautiful amalgamation of Fender's six decades of bass innovations, and an homage to the first electric bass which changed music and bands forever. This has the classic 50s look. The thinskin Blonde finish and black pickguard have a great vintage vibe, but the thinskin finish also gives you greater resonance, and the grain of the Ash shows through nicely. This P Bass is loaded with a Vintage Precision Bass split single coil pickup, which sounds amazing. The tuners here are modern and it has a high mass vintage bridge. Playability is exceptional - 1.625" nutwidth, 9.5" radius on a Modern C Shape Maple neck. Fender molded SKB case is included with this Fender 60th Anniversary P Bass. Check out this great Fender video where artists from the Foo Fighters to Social D and NIN talk about the impact of the mighty P Bass.

This classic Fender Standard P Bass is a proven workhorse of the Fender Bass line. Great Alder body, thicker neck (1.625 inches at the nut) than the J Bass, and a Rosewood neck. They call it classic for a reason - this was one of the first electric basses. Why is called the Precision bass? It was created in '51 in response to players' needs for an electric, more transportable bass that could be heard above the electric guitars at the time. Players (like Elvis' own Bill Black) had been using the stand up double bass and with this new electric, frets were added giving the players more 'precision' in hitting the right notes. Thank you Fender!
Over the years the P Bass has proven its road-worthiness and versatility with artists like Adam Clayton (U2) to Metallica's Jason Newsted - from Sid Vicious to Sting. Sweet. This Fender Standard P Bass comes with a gig bag as well, and as always a free set up from one of our luthiers.

This U.S. built Fender® American Special Jazz Bass is awesome. Its single-coil alnico magnet Jazz Bass pickups deliver rich tones, and are controlled by two volume knobs, one for the neck pickup and one for the bridge. For more versatility, there's Fender® Greasebucket control, which can roll off highs without losing any low-end definition. It has a slim, C-shaped Maple neck, giving it smooth playability. Classic black finish with a three-ply white pickguard. Comes with a deluxe gig bag. The Fender® American Special Jazz Bass sounds great, and is easy to play.
"This bass is so cool. Great fretwork, and a real comfortable neck. The "Greasebucket" tone pot makes it easy to dial in the desired amount of pop or brightness. Great bass all around." - Brian S., MSM Gearhead

This Fender Steve Harris P-Bass pays homage to one of the most influential bassists in metal - Iron Maiden's Steve Harris. For over 30 years, Harris has stayed true to his bass and Fender now honors that with this Artist Signature Series Steve Harris Precision Bass.
"This bass is beyond words - it has a very deep rich tone and is an iconic example of the wonderfully built Japanese Fenders everybody loves. Futhermore, the pickguard is just flat out awesome. From the first second you start playing this bass you're going to feel like you sold over 70 million records, just like Iron Maiden!" - Matthew K.
Of course it looks amazing, with the Royal Blue Metallic sparkle finish and chromed mirror pickguard but it's the playability and sound we're most excited about with this bass. Fueling this P-Bass is a Seymour Duncan Basslines SPB-1 split-coil P-Bass pickup, which is perfect. It's an Alder body with a vintage-tint one-piece Maple neck and fingerboard with 20 medium-jumbo frets, and the killer Badass II bridge. This is strung with Steve Harris signature Rotosound custom flat-wound strings and you can even find Harris's own signature on the back of the headstock. This Fender Steve Harris P-Bass comes with a deluxe gig bag.
