Gold Tone

We were originally drawn to Gold Tone, founded in 1993 by Wayne and Robyn Rogers, because of the quality of their entry-level banjos and quickly discovered they make a lot of great instruments. It's important to us to offer a selection of beginner instruments that are playable and affordable - that's a tall order in the banjo world! Gold Tone fits the bill nicely with quality parts, professional design, tight fitting assembly, a nice factory set up, and great prices. We particularly love the BG250 and BG250F Bluegrass Specials and the Cripple Creek models. They don't stop at banjos! Check out what they've got to offer in Mandolins (check out the great GM70F, Resophonic Guitars, Banjolas, Banjitars, Ukes, Weissenborn replicas... it's a cool company and we are glad to offer them at Mass Street Music. Check out this Gold Tone Video for an in-depth look at the quality and craft that goes into each instrument.
