This Zvex Instant Lo-Fi Junky Pedal is the real deal. If you're familiar with their Lo-Fi Loop Junky, you will know some of the sounds this pedal can churn out, but this one does it in real time. Using a combination of its chip compression, ultra low current semiconductor op-amp filters, and Belling bucket brigades, this unit gives you loads of truly low fidelity sounds, with as much hiss, moan, and modulation as you want. A 3-position waveform toggle lets you set the wave of vibrato, and its middle knob (Comp/Lo-Fi) adjusts between full compression and full vibrato; blending the two creates a chorus-like effect. Volume, Tone, Depth, and Speed controls further increase its versatility. Want a cool, old timey, lo-fi sound for your rig? This Zvex Instant Lo-Fi Junky Pedal will deliver.

The Zvex Box of Rock is one serious drive pedal, in which a super fat, Marshall-esque drive side teams up with an independent, usable boost to cause some extreme sonic damage.
This pedal is Zvex Effect's first "distortion" pedal, highly specialized to simulate the "this amp goes to 11" sound of a classic Marshall JTM45 non-master-volume amplifier. You can use this pedal effectively with many different amplifiers, but to get the sound the engineers at Zvex heard when they designed it, try it through a Marshall at least once. You may use your guitar's volume control to adjust for the exact amount of distortion you need, all the way down to very clean and clear with most drive settings. You'll notice the words "distortron engine" on the Vexter version of this pedal (no, that's not a misprint) on the pedal. In fact, the Zvex Box of Rock isn't just an engine, it's a Hemi.

The Zvex Mastotron Pedal is a heavy silicon fuzz pedal that includes a couple of unusual features such as, source impedance control, subs control, and pulse width control. It works equally well with the bass Relax/Push knob. This knob introduces source impedĀance to the signal going into the pedal. When fully up, the signal goes in raw, when turned down, source impedance is added as needed to soften the input for active pickups. The Relax/Push knob is just one of the options that this pedal offers. It's also equipped with Fuzz, Pulse Width Control, Tone, Volume, and Sub knobs that make the Zvex Mastotron Pedal as versatile as pedals get.

What a great distortion pedal! This Zvex Box of Metal features a 3 band EQ, which if you are like me, is essential to dialing perfect distortion. - Matthew K.
This pedal is an aggressive high-gain pedal with a highly-effective built-in switchable gate which dramatically reduces noise and unwanted feedback. Its gain and tonal characteristics are somewhat similar to high-gain tube amplifiers that have been the staple of hard rock and metal sounds since the 80s. On the right of the pedal, there is a true- bypass switch with an indicator LED to bypass the entire effect. On the left of the pedal is a gate switch which is only effective when the pedal is on (the gate cannot be used separately.) When the gate's LED (on the left side of the pedal) is ON, the gate will be active whenever the pedal is turned on. The gate is very useful for cleaning up any noise between palm-muted chords and lead phrases, but may be switched off to initiate feedback or to stretch out soloed notes that are fading into noise. Switching off and on the gate is silent so the gating action of the pedal can instantly be changed during any part of the performance to fluidly integrate soloing and palm-muted chords. For some serious metal distortion the Zvex Box of Metal is the way to go.
