Precisely and expertly executed, this Jetter Gold 45/100 Pedal embodies the nuance and tone of classic JTM 45/100s. After studying an original JTM 45/100 and countless vintage plexis, Jetter nailed it on the head with this one. It captures all the essential qualities of the amp. With plenty of gain, crank it up without getting too cloudy or mushy. The mids are rich and fat, and the low-end has 'just-enough-sag'. The Lean/Rich control approximates the tone of the two different channels. When completely turned to the 'lean' side, it simulates being plugged in to the Normal channel, when on the 'rich' side it's like running through the bright input. Set it in the middle and it's like jumpering the inputs. The true tone of a generation, this Jetter Gold 45/100 Pedal is fantastic.

On its Gold Shift side, they have added a touch of saturation and gain, and balanced it more towards the low-mid tonal range. The result is plenty of smooth harmonics and enough grit when desired. The Helium side has been given a slight gain increase, yet still retains its classic natural smoothness. This Jetter Helium Pedal is a wonderful overdrive that really captures the sound of your amp's natural break up. Its characteristics remind me a lot of a '54 Fender Tweed Deluxe, which is a pretty big statement! This is absolutely perfect for that classic Stones and roots rock sound. If you're looking for high gain, I'd recommend the Jetter Tritium though. However, stacking this Helium with another overdrive sounds really incredible for kicking it up a notch! I plugged a Tele into a 65 Amps London Combo going into the Helium first, then into the Red Shift to give it a spin. The Helium alone gave me the perfect Mike Campbell tone. Adding the Red Shift gave me a great semi-high gain lead tone that immediately made me think Wilco! The Jetter Helium Pedal is definitely a useful tool that you must try!! - Brian S.
