I'm so excited that we now have the Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive in the store! The idea of having a designated knob to blend in your clean sound at higher gain settings is genius...I love it! It's the same concept that Dean DeLeo used when recording Stone Temple Pilots: Core by running one amp dirty for his main rhythm sound and blending in a separate clean amp to keep his tone punchy and defined. Plugged into a Fender '65 Twin Reverb reissue, I was able to get classic SRV-ish tones, similar to a tubescreamer style pedal, but with more definition and clarity. This Voodoo Lab Micro Vibe is simple to use, sounds amazing and is priced right. It's 100% vintage flavored uni-vibe tone. I gave it a good spin through a Fender '65 Twin Reverb reissue using a Strat and loved how the 'intensity' control allowed me to dial the effect back for a rich, chorus-y tone.
