"I'd heard so many good things about the EVH Wolfgang Special guitar, but never had the opportunity to get one in my hands. When I picked this up, I could tell right off the bat that these are very well-built guitars. It felt solid...not heavy, but very sound and solid. In fact, the average weight of these guitars is impressively light - and really well balanced. The neck is comfortable and perfect for fast playing and hard to reach, exotic scales. The pickups deliver classic, hard rock tones with clarity and actually clean up nicely for that renowned volume-knob-rolled-back semi-crunchy tone Eddie gets...think the middle section of "Panama" or the tune "Push Comes to Shove". Now that's what I'm talkin' about! In ever regard, these guitars are well worth their price tag.
