This used Bourgeois Slope D has a spectacular sound - full and warm, and is in Excellent Plus condition. It has had a fresh refret job and a bridge reglue by our own Repair Shop Manager Mike Horan, so it's now ready for the long haul. The top on this beauty is Adirondack Spruce with Mahogany back and sides and check out the burst on this - beautiful! It's also a real joy to play. This Bourgeois OMS Custom acoustic is a superb player - extremely comfortable with a really nicely balanced tone. This is used and in Excellent Plus condition. The top here is Sitka Spruce with a gorgeous burst and gloss finish. The back and sides are stunning Mahogany (check out the side images) and it's all set off beautifully with tortoise binding, herringbone detailing, and an Ebony pyramid bridge. This Bourgeois Vintage D Custom is phenomenal. Beautiful craftsmanship from top to bottom, this guitar is entirely hand built, made with hot hide glue which improves acoustic transfer, and has extremely high quality fit and finish. It has East Indian Rosewood back and sides, and an Adirondack Spruce top that gives it a quick and crisp response. As if the wood wasn't gorgeous enough, this instrument has stunning herringbone binding, an intricate Zig Zag backstrip, and an Ebony fretboard with Diamond inlay. It has a premium tortoiseshell style pickguard, and a 1 23/32" bone nut. Most importantly, it plays fantastic, with a pristine feel, great projection, and a rich and balanced sound of its own. A tremendous value for a truly hand built instrument. Comes with a deluxe hard case.

This Bourgeois Vintage OM Custom delivers a real presence that belies its size. Dana's past experience restoring pre-war OMs influenced his build technique of this model. Both sides of the X-brace are scalloped for a little more depth in the bottom register, and his neck angle placement and the neck itself contribute to a bigger sound, as does the use of hot hide glue. Of course the Adirondack top doesn't hurt either, particularly coupled with the exceptional Indian Rosewood back and sides here, both with a gloss finish.
