This stunning Collings CJ MhA SS SB Custom acoustic has a phenomenal sound, and is truly unique. Bill crafted this short scale (24 7/8") guitar, one of three for us, based on our owner Jim Baggett's favorite vintage Gibson J-35, including the Adirondack straight (non-scalloped) bracing with three transverse braces (a first for Collings Guitars). This gives the top more natural compression with a really beautiful and classic tone. The nutwidth here is 1 3/4" with 2 1/4" saddle spacing. The Adirondack Spruce top has an amazing burst finish that Collings does extremely well. The Mahogany back and sides are gorgeous and seem to have an almost internal shimmer. This CJ is beautifully set off by ivoroid binding.
"This may be the ultimate modern slope-shouldered D guitar -- uncharacteristically dry-sounding for a Collings, each note has a really strong fundamental tone with volume to spare. I wish it were mine..." - Mike H., our Repair Shop Manager.
This Collings CJ MhA SS SB Custom acoustic comes with a Collings hard case as well. Price is $6,025. Give us a call at 1-800-747-9980 or email us at for details.
This exceptional Collings CJ MH SS SB Custom acoustic is unique and one of the finest guitars we've seen from Collings in both tone and looks. Bill crafted this short scale (24 7/8") guitar, and two others for us, based on our owner Jim Baggett's favorite vintage Gibson J-35 including the Adirondack straight (non-scalloped) bracing with three transverse braces (a first for Collings Guitars). This gives the top more natural compression with a really beautiful and classic tone. The nutwidth is 1 3/4" with 2 1/4" saddle spacing, and just look at the burst on the Sitka Spruce top. The back and sides are an almost iridescent, spectacular Mahogany, all set off beautifully with ivoroid binding. We're frankly thrilled to offer these rare and amazing CJs.
"Absolutely fantastic. This has a wonderful warm and sweet sound." - Tim N.

This Collings 01 VNASB acoustic is as good as it gets. This is used, in Excellent Plus condition and is easily one of the best sounding acoustics in the store right now. The top is a gorgeous wide grained Adirondack Spruce top with a gloss Sunburst finish - done in that spectacular Collings inimitable style. The back and sides are Mahogany. This 01 is just a tremendous player, with a Vintage Now neck - 1 3/4" nutwidth, slightly wider spacing at the saddle (2 1/4"), slightly rounder neck moving to a modified V shape as you go up, and the neck is slightly larger than the standard, but not as big as some of the vintage Martins.
The sound on this beauty is warm and clear and offers more volume than its 01 size would suggest. The resonance and sustain are superb. Of course all of Collings beautiful yet tasteful details are here with tortoise style binding, bone nut and saddle, and a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard and bridge too. This Collings 01 VNASB acoustic comes with the original hard case. Tremendous opportunity to save some money one of the very best.

This impeccable Collings MT2 is breathtaking. From its precise fit and finish, to its gorgeous select tone woods, no detail on this A-style mandolin was overlooked. With an Adirondack Spruce top, tone bar bracing, and beautifully matched Maple back and sides, the only thing better than the way this mandolin looks is the way it sounds.
